Ending the "Moldy Goods" Nightmare in Ninh Binh Craft Villages

Ninh Binh is not only famous for the scenic Trang An landscape but also the cradle of exquisite handicraft products (seagrass, water hyacinth, rattan and bamboo) reaching out to the world. However, the typical humid "Nom" climate of the North is always a difficult problem for exporters: How to dry goods quickly, keep beautiful colors, and most importantly, prevent mold re-infection during storage?

Recently, DeAir was honored to be trusted by a large enterprise in Ninh Binh as the partner to provide a comprehensive humidity treatment solution. The project includes the installation of the Daxwell Heat-pump Drying System for the drying room and the DeAir.RE-H Heat-Resistant Dehumidifier for the curing/preservation warehouse.

1. Phase 1: "Color-Standard" Drying with Daxwell Heat-Pump

For handicrafts, retaining natural colors (green of bamboo, light yellow of seagrass) is the deciding factor for order value. Traditional high-heat drying methods (coal kilns, resistance drying) often cause raw materials to become dull or brittle.

In this project, DeAir installed the Daxwell Heat-pump dryer. Heat pump technology helps separate moisture at low temperatures (from 40°C - 55°C), ensuring water is withdrawn slowly but thoroughly, keeping the product flexible and brightly colored.

2. Phase 2: Curing & Anti-Rehumidification with DeAir.RE-H

Drying is not the end. The storage process waiting for container loading is the most "sensitive" time, when moisture from the environment can easily penetrate back (re-humidification phenomenon), causing mold.

The customer invested in building a Curing Warehouse and using the DeAir.RE-H heat-resistant dehumidifier.

3. Actual Construction & Acceptance Images

The DeAir Technical Services team directly transported, installed, and guided the operation for the customer in Ninh Binh.

The combination of Heat-pump Drying and Heat-resistant Curing Warehouse is the most advanced rattan and bamboo drying solution today, helping businesses be completely proactive against the weather.
