The Olmas OS-500 dehumidifier follows a refrigeration-based dehumidification principle. Inititially, the compressor compresses the refrigerant. As the evaporator cools the air to a temperature below its dew point, moisture condenses and collects on the tray, eventually draining away through pipes. This cyclical process gradually reduces indoor humidity. The dehumidifier can be used with ventilation ducts and control valves or as a standalone unit.
