4. Operating principle A centrifugal fan draws moist air from the room through the filter and over the cooling coil, where it is cooled below its dew point. This causes the moisture in the air to condense and collect in the water tank, which can then be emptied. The cooled air then passes over the condenser coil to be reheated before being discharged as dry air from the rear of the unit.
